メープル

カナダにいたころの
レポートの一部を抜粋

カナダに自生する元からの
植物を100種まとめて
去年の12月の中旬に
提出したときは
なきそうだったよ

あまりにもためすぎて・・・

いろんなサイトや
左かわにのってる
図鑑とかをみてたなぁ・・・

んで この内容が
あってるかといえば
そうでもない気がするとこが
みそ

その植物そのものが
ぽろっとおいてあって
学名とかを書くテストがあって
ちゃんと覚えてなかったわたしは
もちろん撃沈でした(;;)

カナダといえばメープル!

メープルについてかいてあんの、
下の文章。
メープルの木は
開拓者的存在。

森の中のは大きな木で覆われていて普段は
真っ暗。
どでかい一本の
木が倒れると そこに
光が差し込む(これをGAPという)

そこの光が差し込んできたところに
いちはやく芽をだし生長してく

生長もかなり早め


PLANT NAME  Acer macrophyllum
FAMILY Aceraceae
MATURE SIZE HEIGHT It is 35m tall.
ECOLOGY/SOIL This is pioneer. It grows disturb site which is logging, fire, and clearing. The habitat is dry to moist, and at low to middle elevation. Sometimes with Psedotsuga mensiesii ssp. mensiesii.
FORM Tree is covered by mosses ferns, or another plants. It has many big leaves.

LEAVES
Evergreen/Deciduous It’s Deciduous. Shape They have 5rift like the hand.
Arrangement It’s Opposite
Size It’s 15-30cm.

COMMENTS
This is pioneer. So it can find at GAP, logging area, fire place. Flowers have Bisexual and unisexual. The moss can get sprout and grow. Maple flowers are quite sweet and edible and can be used in salads. They are often draped in mosses, because the bark is rich in calcium and moisture, adding to the attractive wet rainforest plant community.
